Fire Safety Training Overview
Shieldyourself is a registered training centre with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health and we deliver the full range of training courses. Courses can be delivered at your location if training facilities are suitable or alternatively they can be delivered one of our training venues dotted around the country.
If you are not sure what course you need then call us and we will be delighted to help you. Group courses can be tailored to reflect your company policy and individual needs. The recommended CIEH qualifications to help organisations meet their duties under current fire safety legislation, and protect both people and premises from fire are:
- CIEH Level 1 Award in Fire Safety Awareness
Provides a basic understanding of workplace fire safety and prevention. - CIEH Level 2 Award in Fire Safety Principles
Qualifies candidates to become fire safety wardens in their workplace. - CIEH Level 3 Award in fire Safety Risk Assessment and Control
Enables candidates to carry out fire risk assessments at work.
