This qualification provides those in managerial and supervisory positions with appropriate knowledge and understanding of the issues involved. It is also suitable for those wishing to deliver CIEH health and safety qualifications as part of their company’s training provision.

CIEH Level 4 Award in Health and Safety

Who needs a certificate?

It is essential for all those who monitor and audit health and safety management systems, including: business owners, managers, production managers and supervisors.

It is recommended that candidates complete the CIEH Level 3 Award in Health and Safety prior to starting this course.

What will I learn?

How to manage health and safety in most businesses
Develop auditing and monitoring programmes
Design safe practices and procedures
Liaise with enforcement officers
Interpret legal requirements
Train staff and establish risk assessment projects (with additional training where necessary)

How do I get my certificate?

The course takes five days to complete and comprises a controlled assignment and an examination paper both of which are to be completed under examination conditions. If you successfully pass the assignment and examination your certificate will be sent out to you in the post.
