Who needs a certificate?
Anyone for whom manual handling is a regular part of their job. It is suited to all employees who handle materials, boxes, mail and packages, including both industrial and office workers.
What will I learn?
- Identify the hazards of manual handling
- Identify the risks involved and controls available
- Identify what to expect from a manual handling assessment
How do I get my certificate?
The course takes one day to complete and at the end of the day, you will be required to answer a multiple choice test and complete a practical assessment. If you pass the test your certificate will be sent out to you in the post.
